Mercy Seat Ministries

We are a small Pentecostal congregation emphasizing the Agape love of God.

We have been at our present location on East Center Street since June 2018.

This is actually the second time we have been at East Center Street. The first time was about sixty five years ago! That was under Carl Voorhees. Another church, New Covenant, owned it when we purchased it from them in 2018.

We trace our local roots to Rev. Carl Voorhees who relocated from Gary, Indiana to upper eastern Tennessee in the 1950's.

Webmaster is knowledgeable in many areas in computing. But things have driven attention away from the glossy web subjects to... - church song lyrics - Career / core computing, especially mainframe.

HTML5 created quite a stir in the late 2000's; and it an interesting topic.
The site development craft is all its own.
